Clearcorrect

ClearCorrect® is a series of clear, custom-made, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth as you wear them, each aligner moving your teeth just a little bit at a time.

They’re practically invisible, so most people won’t even know you’re having treatment; they fit you perfectly, making them more comfortable than regular braces; and they’re removable, so you can eat whatever you like and are able to clean your teeth normally.

Why Choose ClearCorrect

Today, ClearCorrect has served tens of thousands of dentists all over the world and has delivered literally millions of aligners to their patients.

To correct malocclusion, a growing number of patients and doctors prefer clear aligners to traditional wires and brackets, due to advantages such as:

Nearly-invisible appliances
No dietary restrictions
No obstructions to flossing or brushing
Controlled single-tooth movement
Remote monitoring options

It’s no surprise that clear aligners are one of the fastest-growing sectors in orthodontics.

With a low barrier to entry and fast return on investment, clear aligners are an excellent way to expand your practice by offering treatment that patients actively seek.

Clearcorrect Procedure

ClearCorrect is a medical device manufacturer . Treatment decisions and case diagnosis are entirely the responsibility of the prescribing dentist.

At your first appointment we’ll help you decide your course of treatment. The dentist will take bite impressions of your teeth and send them to ClearCorrect.
                        • Making your aligners

3D imaging technology is used to transform your bite impressions into a custom-made series of clear and removable aligners. There may be as many as 48 in the series or as a few as 12, depending on your requirements.

                        • Wear your aligners

After your prescription is sent to ClearCorrect, the design process will begin. ClearCorrect will create a series of clear trays that are customized for your teeth. The aligners will be shaped in a way that applies pressure to each of your teeth. This will gently move them in the direction they need to go in to provide you with a straighter, healthier smile. Once your aligners are ready, you can start wearing them to begin the straightening process. To experience optimal results, your aligners should be worn for at least 22 hours per day.

                        • Finish your treatment

As you progress through your treatment, you will need to schedule regular visits with your ClearCorrect provider so he can examine your teeth and check your progress. Your dentist or orthodontist will also provide you will new aligners throughout your treatment to continue to move your teeth into place. Depending on the complexity of your case, your ClearCorrect treatment can take anywhere from a few months to a few years to complete.

It’s fairly common to experience some tenderness or discomfort for the first few days of wearing a new aligner. However, the more you wear the aligner the more comfortable they become.

The aligners can also sometimes temporarily affect your speech. But most people adapt quickly to wearing the aligners and it is rare that your speech would be impaired for an extended period of time. You may also experience a temporary increase in salivation or dryness of the mouth.

ClearCorrect aligners are among the most comfortable in the industry. Similar to braces, if aligners change too abruptly between steps, they can cause unnecessary discomfort. ClearCorrect aligners employ a unique system which balances your comfort and treatment time.

While wearing clear aligners is generally not painful, there will be brief periods, days not weeks, when the new aligners may cause the teeth to be uncomfortable.

Your ‘bite’ could also feel different from time to time while the teeth are in transition. You may have a lisp at first while becoming accustomed to talking with the aligner on. This usually resolves after a few days of getting used to wearing the aligner.

You may need engagers, a small tooth coloured bump temporarily placed on the tooth which will help the aligner to move the tooth.

No. The aligners are fairly simple to keep clean. However, tooth decay, periodontal disease, decalcification (permanent markings on the teeth) or inflammation of the gums may occur if proper oral hygiene and preventative maintenance is not maintained.
